every gun has a different prestige level. i think with shotguns you can prestige them at 10, and SMGs and ARs are like 16 or 17, something like that. it just resets your attachments, but you will be able to get the xp that comes with them from unlocking them. you can prestige your weapons twice and each one will let you have your clan tag, then later your emblem by the second prestige. You have to get to rank 50 and pass it then you have go to playercard and prestige.but if you go into wager mattch pro gambler and prestige when the map is locked in then prestige and if you win you will be level 1 with 30.000 cod points.

The after match report is just showing an inaccurate level, you are not missing out on any levels, prestige levels are harder to level through compared to the initial levels when you start
